Hogs for your Freezer

Hogs may be purchased for your freezer or pig roast from Hogs Galore. Market weight for hogs runs from 250-280lbs live weight and 85-110 per side carcass weight. Hogs can be purchased for $1.70/lb carcass weight. Hogs that are more or less than market weight are a different price. Hogs for roasting come with head on if desired. Hogs for freezer come split with head off.
Processing
Each item is charged separately. Customers can choose to have any parts of the hog processed into these items.
Basic Break and Cut: $0.35/lb Carcass Weight---Includes: Breaking hogs into primals (Hams, Loins, Shoulders, Bellies, Hocks, Feet, and Spare Ribs) and cutting primals into chops, boneless loin, butt steaks, etc.
The following are cuts available from each hog. Many of these cuts overlap and one hog may not yield each one of the following. Customers should consult with Hogs Galore processing specialist to determine what cuts they prefer.
Ribs: Spareribs, Spareribs, Breast off, St. Louis Style, BabyBack.
Loin Cuts: Bone-In Whole Loin, Boneless Whole Loin, Bone-In Center Cut, Boneless Center Cut, Crown Roast, Tenderloin, Rib End Roast Bone-In, Sirloin End Roast Bone-in, Country Style Bone-In Ribs, Country Style Boneless Ribs.
Chops and Steaks: Rib End Chops, Center Cut Rib Chops, Center Cut Loin Chops, Center Cut Rib Chops French Style, Center Cut Stuffing Chops, Boneless Butterfly Chops, Pork Cutlets, Boston Butt Steak, Shoulder Butt Steaks.
Shoulder: Whole Pork Shoulder, Skin-On, Pork Shoulder Picnic Cut, Skin-On, Pork Shoulder Picnic Cut, Skinless, Boston Butt, Boneless Boston Butt.
Further Processing Includes:
Curing and Smoking: $1.00/lb - Includes Curing and Smoking of Hams, Bacons, Picnic Shoulders, Hocks, etc.
Slicing: $0.25/lb - Includes Slicing Hams or Bacons any way customer desires.
Packing: $0.35/lb - Includes: Butcher Paper, Vacuum Packing, or Freezer Paper. Customer's Choice,
Marinating: $ 0.35/lb - Choose from any of the following marinates with a minumum of 10lbs per: Black Nugget, Sweet Bourbon, Burgundy Wine, Cajun, California Garlic and Butter, Dixie Garlic and Herb, Buffalo Wing Flavor, Italian, and Lemon Pepper.
Grinding and Sausage Making: Includes Boning out meat for grind and grinding.

Grinding Plus Seasonings:
Loose Breakfast: $0.50/lb
Small Link (1-2oz.) Collagen Casing Breakfast: $1.25/lb
Loose Sweet or Hot Italian: $0.75/lb
Sweet or Hot Italian in Natural Hog Casing: $1.25/lb

Smoked Meats
Customers can have any of our various smoked meats made from parts of the carcass such as Keilbasa, Ring Bologna, Hot Dogs, Snack Sticks, etc. Smoked meat prices vary depending on type, amount and ingredients. Talk to Hogs Galore processing specialist to place order.
